– 4 slices bread – 2 slices monterey jack or pepper jack cheese – 6 mini sweet peppers or half a sweet bell pepper, seeded and sliced – 1/2 sweet onion, sliced – 2 teaspoons olive oil – 2 Tablespoons softened butter

On one side of each of the four bread slices, spread butter. The Mr. is sure that the butter coverage must be even.

Step 1

Spread it out all the way to the edges. It's worth the extra money. One second.

Step 2

Set up one pan on medium-high heat. Put in the oil and let it heat up. Put peppers and onions in the pan.

Step 3

Let them sit for one to two minutes without moving so that they get charred. After that, stir it and cook for three to five more minutes, or until it's just soft.

Step 4

In the meantime, put another pan on medium heat. Put all of the bread slices into the pan with the butter side down.

Step 5

On top of two pieces of bread, put the cheese slices. For about 6-7 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese melts.

Step 6

Place the bread slices on a plate. Top the cheese with onions and peppers, and then put the other piece of grilled bread on top. Get in there!
