Best Shrimp Brochette Recipe

Have you tried Pappasito's Shrimp Brochette? Mom always ordered it—it's her favorite! She even ordered a big batch to pick up for gatherings. It's wonderful and Pappasito's specialty.

INGREDIENTS

for the bacon-wrapped shrimp: – 24 toothpicks (pre-soaked for about 20 minutes in water so that they don't burn up) – 1/2 tsp smoked paprika – 1/2 tsp garlic powder – 1/2 tsp chili powder – 1 tsp kosher salt – 1/2 tsp black pepper – 6 slices of bacon, cut in half crosswise – 1 jalapeno, seeded and cut into thin strip – 2 tbsp cream cheese (For Whole30, you can either omit this OR use @kitehill dairy-free cream cheese) – 1 lb large tail-on shrimp (21/25 count) for the garlic-butter drizzle: – 2 tbsp ghee or ghee oil (you can sub butter if not Whole30) – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 tsp finely chopped fresh parsley leave

INSTRUCTIONS

make the bacon-wrapped shrimp:- Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix well and keep aside.

Step 1

Butterfly the back of a shrimp to stuff. To reveal the shrimp's top vein, split the top of a shrimp along the middle with a paring knife. Open the shrimp like a book.

Step 2

If using, put 1/4 tsp cream cheese in each shrimp crevice. Next, add a jalapeño slice (cut it if needed).

Step 3

Sprinkle some spice mixture over the packed shrimp after closing it like a book. Put bacon on and toothpick it.

Step 4

cook the shrimp (one of these three ways):- Air fryer method: Preheat to 400 degrees for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Air fry the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket for 5–6 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the shrimp is cooked through.

Step 6

Bake the bacon-wrapped shrimp on a parchment-lined baking sheet at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the shrimp is cooked through.

Step 7

Method: Grill at medium-high heat (400 degrees). Grill bacon-wrapped shrimp for 3 minutes per side until crisp and cooked through.

Step 8

make butter drizzle:- Set aside the cooked shrimp while you quickly make the butter drizzle. Add ghee to a small skillet over medium heat.

Step 9

Add the garlic and parsley and stir until the garlic is soft and aromatic, 2–3 minutes. Pour garlicky butter over cooked shrimp and serve immediately! Enjoy!
