Date Nut Pinwheel Cookie Easiest Recipe Ever 

Delicious Date Nut Pinwheel Cookies combine sweetness and crunch. As the layered date filling melts into the buttery cookie, enjoy each bite.  

– 1½ cup dates  – ½ cup sugar – ¼ cup melted chocolate – ¾ cup water – 1 cup walnuts  – 2 cups all-purpose flour  – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ¾ cup brown sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ cup butter – 2 egg



Over medium heat, combine chopped dates, ½ cup sugar, water, and melted chocolate in a saucepan. Stir until thick and bubbling. 


Once the mixture has been removed from the heat, whisk in chopped pecans or walnuts. 


Put the butter and brown sugar into a mixer and whisk them together until they become frothy and light. 


Be sure to beat the eggs and vanilla extract until they are completely combined.


Flour, baking soda, and salt should be added and thoroughly combined. In the refrigerator for approximately one hour.


Roll out the dough on a floured surface after an hour. Evenly distribute the date mixture over the dough.


Roll the dough like a jelly roll and cut the edges. Eliminate any extra flour. Chill the roll for an additional thirty minutes.


Using a serrated knife, cut rolls into ¼ inch pieces and bake on a prepared baking pan at 350℉ for 12 minutes until golden brown.
