Delicious Twisted Hot Dog Roll Recipe

Fun and flavor mix in this Twisted Hot Dog Rolls dish, making the ordinary hot dog enticing and sure to leave everyone wanting seconds.

– ⅔ cup water – 1 teaspoon active dry yeast – 1 tablespoon sugar – 2 cups all-purpose flour – ¼ teaspoon salt – 4 tablespoons butter – 1 large egg – 6 large hot dog – 2 green onion – ¼ cup parsley – ½ cup cheddar cheese  – 1 egg

Mix the sugar, yeast, and water in a small basin, then let it sit until it begins to bubble, about ten minutes.

Mix the flour and salt together in a separate, bigger bowl. Melt the butter in a small bowl, then whisk in the egg.

Mix the yeast mixture into the flour along with the other wet ingredients. I merely kneaded the dough by hand, but you can certainly use a mixer for this.

Use as much flour as necessary; I used two cups, but feel free to add more. Put the dough in a basin that has been greased.

Leave the bowl covered with a clean towel to double in size. Preheat oven to 375℉. Form 6 equal balls from the dough.

Roll each piece into a tiny rectangle, lay a hot dog in the middle, then wrap the dough around it tightly.

Cut all the way through each wrapped hot dog, but stop when you get to the dough. Cut the hot dogs into ½-inch pieces.

Each piece should be rolled out and shaped into a flower, as seen in the image below. Continue with the remaining hot dogs.

Fry both sides. Put donuts on paper towels to absorb grease. Use remaining dough. Sprinkle powder sugar and enjoy.

After brushing each roll with egg wash, garnish with green onions, parsley, and cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at a temperature of roughly golden brown.
