Delicious Veggie Pizza Recipe

For Whole Wheat Pizza Base – 3 cups whole wheat flour – 2 tsp dry yeast – 1 tbsp sugar – 2 tsp salt – 1 cup warm water – 3 tbsp olive oil For Topping – 1 onion chopped finely – 1 capsicum chopped finely – 2 cups mozzarella cheese – 5 black olives chopped – 1 cup homemade pizza sauce – oregano as needed


To make dough, mix yeast and sugar in warm water. set aside 5 minutes. Bowl together flour, salt, and olive oil. Add yeast water and form a soft dough.

Step 1

Cover and let dough rise for 1–2 hours until doubled. preheat oven to 220'C. Oven bottom heating element mode only.

Step 2

Spread half the dough equally on an oiled surface to make a circle. Be sure the sides are thicker than the middle. Heat a cast-iron pan on the stove until hot.

Step 3

Turn off heat. Put some olive oil in. Spread pizza sauce generously on the pizza base in the pan. Sprinkle your topping. I used capsicum-colored onions.

Step 4

Put the cast iron pan on the lowest rack in the oven. Cook until the base is crispy, 10–12 minutes.

Step 5

Remove the pizza from the oven and top with cheese. Place black olives on top. Drizzle olive oil. Place the pan back in the oven. Put the oven rack near the grill on top.

Step 6

Place the cheese in the oven on grill mode for 2 minutes until bubbling and brown. Remove pan from oven and season with oregano. Carefully remove pizza from pan and cut into triangles. Serve.
