Honey Thyme Roasted Carrots Recipe

This roasted honey thyme carrot dish is sweet, salty, and herbaceous, making it a great side dish for any main dish.

– 2 pounds carrots peeled and cut into 1-inch piece – 1 tablespoon butter – 2 tablespoons honey – 1 tablespoon fresh thyme stripped from stem – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1/4 teaspoon black pepper preferably freshly cracked

INSTRUCTION

Warm the oven up to 425 degrees F. Put parchment paper on a large baking sheet. Put away.

STEP  1 .

In a big saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the thyme, honey, salt, and pepper and mix well. Take the heat off.

STEP 2.

Take it off the heat and add the carrots to the honey mix.

STEP 3.

Carrots should be spread out on the baking sheet that has been prepared.

STEP 4.

20 to 30 minutes of baking time, with a flip halfway through the process. (please refer to the notes)

Remove the carrots from the oven and place them in a serving dish (this step is optional).
