No-churn Strawberry Ice Cream Recipe
Skip the costly equipment and make this 10-minute no-churn ice cream with fresh fruit.
INGREDIENTS
– 1 pound fresh or frozen strawberries (See Kelly’s Notes)
– 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
– 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the strawberries to a big bowl. Use a heavy spoon or a pastry cutter to mash the strawberries until they are pea-sized.
Step 1
Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix it in. Leave it alone.
Step 2
Put the cold heavy cream in the bowl of a stand mixer with a whisk attachment. Whisk the cream fo
r about two minutes, or until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Combine half of the whipped cream with the sweetened condense
d milk. Use a spoon to mix the two together.
Step 4
Continue mixing in the remaining half of the whipped cream
after adding it.
Step 5
Next, place the ice cream in a container with a tight-fitting lid or a metal loaf pan covered in plastic wrap. Freeze it for six hou
rs to solidify.
