Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs Recipe For Easter Day 2024

Smoked salmon deviled eggs elevate a popular snack. Fresh herbs, salty smoked salmon, and briny capers give each bite a delicious taste.

Ingredients

– 6 large egg 3 tablespoons mayonnaise 1 tablespoon finely chopped shallot 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon finely chopped dill salt and pepper to taste 2 ounces smoked salmon 1 tablespoon capers extra dill for garnish

Once the water in a pot starts to boil, turn the heat down to low to make sure it stays that way. Put the eggs in the water with a skimmer.

After that, turn the heat back up to high and set a timer for 14 minutes.Set up a bath of ice water and wait while the eggs boil.

After the time, remove the eggs from the water and cool them in the cool water bath. Once the eggs are completely cool, peel and cut them in half lengthwise.

Fill a small basin with egg yolks. Place egg whites on a platter and serve. Mix egg whites, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, shallot, dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make the filling.

Make sure to mix everything together until it's smooth.You can use a spoon to put some of the deviled egg mixture back into each egg white hole.

 Add a small piece of smoked salmon, capers, and fresh dill to the top of each egg.
