  • 1 tablespoon canola oil, grapeseed oil, or similar neutrally flavored high-temperature cooking oil (olive oil will smoke, so I
  • suggest one of these other oils instead)

Instructions :

  • Stir the soy sauce, ginger, and cornstarch together in a medium-sized mixing dish using a fork to combine the ingredients. After adding the chicken, split the meat up into pieces and mix it so that it is coated with the sauce. Marinate for ten minutes before serving.
  • During this time, you should mince the garlic and slice the mushrooms into extremely small pieces.
  • Warm up a wok or a large sauté pan with a deep bottom over high heat. As soon as the oil is hot, add the chicken that has been marinated and sauté it, breaking the meat into small pieces, for approximately five minutes, or until it is no longer pink and is completely cooked through.

  • The mushrooms should be cooked for around two minutes after they have been added.
  • Bring the temperature down to medium. Coleslaw, salt, pepper, and garlic that has been minced should be added. Stir-fry the coleslaw for three to four minutes, or until it becomes more pliable.
  • After removing the dish from the fire and allowing it to cool, stir in the red pepper flakes and sesame oil, if used in the dish. You can adjust the seasoning to your liking after tasting it.
  • Bring together the egg rolls by: Place an egg roll wrapper on a surface appropriate for work in such a way that it is placed in the shape of a diamond, with one corner pointing in the direction of you.

  • Place three tablespoons of the filling in the middle of the dough and shape it into a torpedo so that it runs horizontally across the middle of the dough.
  • After folding the right and left points of the diamond towards the middle over the filling, roll the egg roll up away from you, as if you were making a little burrito; for more rolling advice, refer to the package that you purchased.
  • After applying water to the sides of the wrapper to create a seal, gently press it to ensure that it adheres. If you have all of the wrappers stacked on your counter, you may prevent them from drying out by placing a damp paper towel on top of the stack. Proceed with the remaining wrappers and filling in the same manner.
  • Prepare your air fryer by heating it to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. First, coat the basket with nonstick spray, and then arrange the first batch of egg rolls in the basket in a single layer, with the seam side facing down.

  • Mist the top with another spray that is nonstick. It is imperative that the egg rolls are not in contact with one another.
  • Egg rolls should be air-fried for nine to eleven minutes, with a flip halfway through the cooking process. If you would like to keep the egg rolls warm between batches, place them on a baking sheet and place them in an oven preheated to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Repeat with the remaining batches. After waiting a few minutes for it to cool, you can enjoy it hot with sweet chili sauce if you so wish.
