Method :

  • Set the oven temperature to 425 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, ground beef, fresh herbs, spices, salt, and pepper. Add the ground pork and beef. Mix everything together with your hands until it is well incorporated.
  • Utilizing a cookie dough scoop, form the meat mixture into meatballs, and then roll them in between the palms of your hands to ensure that they are evenly distributed. Spread them out on a sheet pan that has been brushed with olive oil and set it aside.

  • After all of the meatballs have been rolled and placed on the sheet pan, bake them at a temperature of 425 degrees for fifteen to twenty minutes, or until the temperature on the inside reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Prepare the tzatziki sauce while the meatballs are in the process of cooking. In a food processor, combine the cucumber, garlic, and dill, and pulse until the ingredients are finely minced. To the Greek yogurt, add the cucumber mixture and continue stirring until everything is thoroughly blended.

How to Serve the Meatballs :

  • There are a few different ways that you can serve these meatballs, and each of them is just outstanding in terms of flavor. As much as I encourage you to get creative with how you eat these delicious meatballs,
  • I will, of course, share some of my favorite ways to consume them.
  • Offer them a snack or appetizer to enjoy at the party! These Greek meatballs are an excellent choice for serving as an appetizer or as a dish to bring to a dinner party. If you want to serve the tzatziki as a dipping sauce, you can create a double batch of the meatballs, insert a cocktail stick into each one, and then serve the second batch of meatballs.

  • Put together a mouthwatering bowl of Greek salad! When it comes to serving these meatballs, this is one of my fave ways to do it. To serve, arrange them on top of a bed of fresh romaine lettuce or your preferred mixed greens, and accompany them with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, feta cheese, dill, peppers, and any other vegetables that you think could be tasty.
  • You have the option of including rice or Greek chickpea salad in your bowl if you so desire with your meal. Spread a large amount of tzatziki over the top of your bowl to finish it off.

  • Embrace them inside of a pita! Should you find that a Greek pita sandwich is more your style, you are more than welcome to load these meatballs into a pita along with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, and of course, a generous amount of tzatziki sauce.
