Ingredients

Crust:

  • 1 ¼ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons salted butter, melted

Filling:

  • 1 cup fresh key lime juice (about 9–10 limes)
  • 2 Tablespoons key lime zest

  • 2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 2 egg yolks
  • whipped cream and lime slices for topping (optional)

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

  • Prepare the crust by combining 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs1/4 cup granulated sugar and 5 Tablespoons salted butter, melted.

  • Place the crust on a 9-inch pie plate, bake it for 10 minutes, then take it out and put it aside.

  • To make the filling, put two tablespoons of zest from key limes, one cup of fresh key lime juice, two 14-ounce cans of sweetened condensed milk, half a cup of sour cream, and two egg yolks in a bowl.
