Our favorite football food is wings! Curry Wings are a delicious new wing recipe with an Indian-inspired dry rub made with curry powder, coriander, paprika, garlic, and cumin!
INGREDIENTS
for the rub:
– Zest of 1 large lemon
– 1 ½ tsp ground cumin
– 3 tsp curry powder
– 1 tsp ground coriander
– 1 ½ tsp paprika
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1 ½ tsp kosher salt
– ½ tsp cayenne pepper
for the wings:
– 3 lbs split chicken wing
– 2 tbsp avocado oil
– 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill for serving
INSTRUCTIONS
Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Wrap a big baking sheet in foil and place a wire rack on top of it.
Step 1
You can also use parchment paper to line a big baking sheet if you don't have a wire rack.
Step 2
Put everything you need "for the rub" in a small bowl and stir it together. Put away.
Step 3
Dry the wings off well. Pour the oil over the wings in a big bowl, and then toss the wings to coat them all.
Step 4
Add about ¾ of the rub mixture to the wings (save the rest for serving) and toss them again until the rub is well mixed in and the wings are covered all over.
Step 5
Lay the wings out in a single layer on the wire baking rack that has been prepared.
Step 6
Put it in the oven and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until it's fully cooked and golden.
Step 7
Take the wings out of the oven and carefully place them on a plate. Add the fresh dill and the rest of the rub on top. Serve and have fun!
