A simple and tasty side dish is green beans with shallots and lemon. It's simple to make and one of my favourite ways to cook green beans.
Once more, drain and set away. In a big pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Put in the chopped shallots and cook for one to two minutes.
Pour lemon juice and green beans into the pan. Stir them for a few minutes to warm. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
