Paleo Protein Bites Recipe

INGREDIENTS

1. 1/2 cup raw almond 2. 3 pitted medjool date 3. 2 scoops Rootz Paleo Protein Superfood 4. 1/4 cup whole kernel raw sunflower seed 5. 1/4 cup raw cashew 6. 1/2 tsp cacao powder 7. 2 tbsp coconut butter 8. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Put almonds, dates, protein powder, sunflower seeds, cashews, and cacao powder in a food processor. Set the machine to high speed.  

Step 1

Continue processing until a flour that is very crumbly is created.

Step 2

Mix in the coconut butter and coconut oil until they are well incorporated. A dough-like appearance is desired.

Step 3

In order to scoop the dough and shape it into round balls, you can use a tablespoon. Arrange the balls in a uniform manner on a baking sheet.

Step 4

Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and allow it to cool for at least half an hour.  

Step 5

You may store these in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or you can freeze them in a container that is airtight or in a ziplock bag for up to three months on the freezer.
