Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches

It's so easy to make these Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches, and they taste like summer: messy, smoky, and sweet.  

INGREDIENTS

– 6 skinless boneless chicken breast halve – 1 12-16 oz bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce (We used Sweet Baby Ray's) – 1/2 cup Italian salad dressing – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce – 1 small yellow onion, chopped – 8 bun – Sliced or shredded sharp cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Put BBQ sauce, dressing, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and onion in a bowl and mix them together.

2. Put chicken in the bottom of a slow cooker. Cover with the sauce mix.

3. Put the lid on top and cook on high for three to four hours or on low for six to eight hours.

Step 3

4. Taking the chicken out of the pot, use two forks to separate the pieces into shreds.

Step 4

5. Put the chicken back in the pot and mix it with the sauce. Top the buns with cheddar cheese and serve.
